Laughing Bird Caye Belize
Laughing Bird Caye is a marine reserve and national park of Belize. The small island is studded with beautiful palm trees, a powdery white beach and unbeatable snorkeling. As it is protected, it is teaming with underwater life and extremely healthy coral. It is named after the laughing gull which breeds on the island. In 1996, the Belize barrier reef reserve system was inscribed on the world heritage list with Laughing Bird Caye National Park designated as one of the premier protected areas within the country.
Moho Caye Belize
Moho Caye is Placencia’s best kept secret! This is without question the prettiest beach out of all the Cayes and is surrounded by crystal blue waters in incredible natural coral reefs. Spend a day on the island, swimming, snorkeling, lazing in a hammock or if you’re feeling active, a game of beach volley ball. The island has crystal blue water all the way around and great snorkeling. The beach is powdery white sand and the island is full of palm trees.
