2. Hike the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. If you like your wildlife really wild, this is your destination. Search for the jaguar, jaguarundi, margay, ocelot, and puma that prowl the 128,000-acre preserve. There’s a small admission fee but this super-sized experience is worth every penny.

6. Snorkel and dive at Laughing Bird Caye National Park. 7. Experience the Belize Barrier Reef. It’s the one place every visitor must-see because it’s the second-longest on Earth and the expanse is filled with eye candy. Rugged coral reefs are picturesque and the marine life living on and around the reef are remarkable exhibits of nature’s diversity.
