Remember back in the day when airlines staged price wars and it became a game to predict which carrier would capitulate first when the race was on to compete for passengers? Well, we’ve got breaking news for you if the only reason you haven’t made arrangements to visit Belize this summer has to do with airfares: A traveler, who wishes to remain anonymous so people who have spent more on their round trip tickets to Belize this summer don’t hate him, confides that he just paid $350 USD for a nonstop round trip!

You want a deal too, and we want to make sure you get one, so here’s the skinny on getting your fine self to Belize during green season, between June and October, and having enough money left in your bank account to splurge on everything else once you arrive. Figure out which of the following work best for you:

On May 26th 2015, American Airlines added additional flights to its current schedule linking Belize City with Los Angeles every Saturday and Sunday. Look for the red and blue logo on 737-800 plane fuselages as service is stepped up to meet increasing demand brought about by Belize’s growing reputation for summer fun on a shoestring.

Flights leave LA at 12:30 a.m. and arrive at 6:10 a.m., so you can snooze all the way here and grab a delish Belize breakfast once you land. Live further north? Heed the advice of Airfarewatchdog.com: Reserve your $269 USD, round trop Seattle to Belize City tickets immediately (http://www.airfarewatchdog.com/cheap-flights/seattle-washington-sea-to-belize-city-belize-bze/)!

But, suppose you don’t want to visit Belize until later in the summer because you’re still wrestling your work load to the mat. Be advised that you risk losing the deal of a lifetime if you live in Dallas. Delta Airlines is offering round trip tickets to Belize City priced at $279 USD and that price is valid from June to December, throughout Belize’s green season.

But you know how fickle carriers can be! Delta earmarked limited numbers of promotional seats, so if you want to make sure your posterior winds up in one, rethink your calendar now and go to http://cheapdfw.com/cheap-flight-dallas-costa-rica-belize-central-america-dl/ to settle your flight arrangements.

If you simply can’t juggle your priorities at present and won’t be able to travel until summer’s end for myriad reasons, please don’t throw yourself a pity party. It will still be green season when Southwest Airline’s October Houston to Belize service kicks in. How could they ignore the trend when so many other carriers are making beelines to Belize? Get in on the ground floor by visiting https://www.southwest.com/ for ticketing now.

Live Like the Rich & Famous by Exploring Chabil Mar’s Time-Limited Land and Yacht Package

sailing_packagesTravelers who lust after the good life, but think it’s too elusive, have simply picked the wrong places to vacation! In Belize, especially during the green season, summers are filled with sumptuous days and nights—and you can afford the sorts of lodgings, entertainment and dining you’d expect to find on Sir Richard Branson’s budget.

How can this be? Because Chabil Mar, located in Placencia, is a little-known destination where budgets stretch as far as the eye can see during summer from the windows of private villas dotting this intimate resort. Between now and October, visitors can book vacation packages that include lodgings and amenities and since it’s lobster season in Belize, every meal’s a banquet.

Chabil Mar vacation packages have always been unique, but this summer season will inaugurate a brand new combination of experiences: a Mainland Vacation plus a Luxury Yachting weekend that’s got the Belize travel scene abuzz. It includes extras rarely included in packages that come with affordable price tags—extras guaranteed to leave friends and relatives as green with envy as the lush jungles of Belize. summer in belize

“We’ve never offered anything that compares to this particular package,” said Larry France, Chabil Mar’s marketing manager, who tends to avoid using hyperbole after working in Belize’s travel industry for so many years. “This four-person extravaganza is unprecedented, considering the fact that Chabil Mar has won multiple awards from popular travel sites like TripAdvisor.com!”

Included in the Mainland and Sailing Package are in-country flights, transfers, five nights at a Chabil Mar luxury villa followed by two nights on board The Wild Orchid, a 46-foot catamaran yacht. While on site, visitors can explore rainforests, tour Mayan archaeological ruins, relax on the beach or stroll to nearby Placencia Village to soak up local culture. Onboard the yacht, fishing, snorkeling, island hopping and sailing await—and it’s only available throughout the green season ending in November.

“At Chabil Mar, guests land in paradise,” France adds. “Think candlelight dinners, champagne, chocolates, breakfast on a private veranda and meals cooked to order that include the king of all delicacies, lobster. On board the Wild Orchid, meals are prepared by the yacht’s professional crew and beverages of choice are included. It’s a package only Chabil Mar offers and this sort of luxury experience is rare for the price.”

Chabil Mar is a privately owned and held resort located in the Stann Creek District of Belize. It opened its doors in 2005 and has built an international reputation since that time. Historically, Chabil Mar—Mayan for “Beautiful Sea”—is nestled between a Garifuna settlement and former Creole fishing village of Placencia and in close proximity to ancient Maya ruins, rainforests, jungles and some of the best scuba and deep-water diving in Central America.
