Yesterday USA Today published an article entitled “Find Your Paradise at Belize’s Top Beaches” which listed the top beach locations in Belize.
“USATODAY.COM is not only a top site in the US but also in the world” says Larry France, Marketing Manager of Chabil Mar, a guest exclusive resort in Placencia which got a mention in the article.
“Belize is unlike many other Caribbean destinations, where it’s easy to isolate the best beaches of a particular island. The mainland coast of Belize is a tangle of mangroves, which is about as far as a person can get from ideal beach conditions,” writes Mark Rogers, the author of the article.

The author states that the Placencia Peninsula in southern Belize has the best mainland beaches in Belize and is a good jumping-off point to explore secluded beaches of the Silk Cayes and Laughing Bird Caye, two gorgeous gems not far away from Placencia Village.

The beaches in Hopkins Village, Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker, Half Moon Caye, Southwest Caye and South Water Caye were also highly praised in the article.
